As a licensed massage therapist, I have experienced endless wonder and deep healing available through therapeutic massage. I feel blessed to have found a career which I enjoy greatly and is so helpful to others. Massage is my means for supporting people in finding peace, balance and joy in their lives. Through bodywork I am able to assist others in finding ease and comfort in their bodies so that life can be enjoyed without persistent pain and with minimal stress.   ~Diana

Massage has proven to be an endless source of joy and discovery for Diana. Inspired by the deep fulfillment that she felt in her own yoga practice, Diana decided to pursue Thai Yoga Massage as a means for assisting others in experiencing a similar fulfillment. She began her studies in 2003 at the Lotus Palm School for Thai Yoga Massage. There she found herself intrigued, inspired and adept at this flowing, dance-like therapy. After taking all the courses offered by the school at the time, including an Ayervedic course on Thai Massage, she decided to go to the Finger Lakes School of Massage to expand her knowledge of the body and learn new approaches for healing through touch. Both of these schools ingrained the principle of intention in loving kindness as the foundation of giving an effective massage.

Since graduating from massage school in 2005, Diana has offered massage at the Omega Institute’s Wellness Center, which is open during the warm season, and currently has a private practice at The Living Seed Yoga Center in New Paltz, NY.  In March of 2008, Diana completed a month-long, advanced training in Thai Massage at the Thai Massage Circus in Laos.  She enjoys using the plethora of ‘circus tricks’ in her practice!  In November of 2010, she returned to the Lotus Palm School to study with Kam Thye Chow in his most advanced course, Level 6.  Diana taught massage at the Finger Lakes School of Massage in Mt. Kisco, NY from 2008 - 2019 and soon after began teaching Thai Yoga Massage workshops in the Hudson Valley, NY.  Her studies ever continue.  In the spring of 2013, she studied Advanced Thai Massage with Pamela Herrick of Bamboo Thai Massage and Body Tuning with Glenn Black.  In the winter of 2014 Diana traveled back to Thailand to enrich herself in Thai culture and in the study of more Thai Massage!  There she took an Advanced Abdominal Course and Advanced Sen Line Course in Thai Massage with Felicity Keebaugh, a well sought out international teacher.  She also studied with Pichest Boonthumme, a master teacher with whom many advanced practitioners travel to Thailand to study.  She also took a few classes with Ajan Sinchai, a blind teacher of Thai Massage.  Diana loves to travel and especially enjoys the peaceful and aesthetically pleasing culture that Thailand offers ,with Buddhist temples on nearly every block and fruit smoothies and coconut curry in ample supply.  All that said, Diana finds awe and fulfillment in having a career that positively affects the people she works with, as well as herself.  What a blessing!

“Diana’s work is exquisite.  Her sensitivity and intuitiveness, healing presence and skill, lends itself to an extraordinary experience.  Over the years, I have worked with many practitioners.  Diana is clearly at the top of my list!” – Bonnie Monchik CSW – psychotherapist
